We use the AMO standard for measuring arrows.  
This is from the end of the insert, or the shaft on a hidden insert, to the back of the throat of the nock.  
This is where the nock pushes against the string.  




Be sure to measure your arrows using the AMO method when ordering from American Bowhunter.  Our custom built arrows are not returnable.
